Joaquin has gone crazy recently and like Proud Ryu said that if Marvel had a hard time working with Norton, why would they get someone who can be just as unpredicatable? |

This was once my most anticipated film, looking good for $500m domestic even. Now it sounds like it could be one giant mess (especially in the wake of IM2). IM2 numbers wont even be that easy to get! |

Page1.html Well, apparently, Joaquin Phoenix was up for the role of Banner in TIH before they went with Ed Norton, but now the RUMOR so to speak is Mark Ruffalo as Banner and will be featured more prominently in The AVENGERS than a mere cameo.. Could Ruffalo do it folks?? He has a certain look going for him scientist wise.. I mean HULK will obviously be CGI so who cares at this point who Banner is?? I wanted Norton and believe heavily in continuity for this movie(a 1 SHOT Type of thing on a Grand Scale so as not to fuck this up like Ang Lee did on HULK 2003) But if there going to recast, Ruffalo looks as good as any actor and better than Phoenix at least.. I really do hope MARVEL shells out $$$$ for the budget on this and not go too cheap???

That's a big improvement over Phoenix, imo. Nothing will improve over Norton. I know it's more about the Hulk than Banner but Norton was the most cosmically great choice for the role. |
