Walking though Target, I saw lots of DVD's between $5-10 so I bought like 30. Figured I would treat myself to an early Christmas present, so what 5 should I watch tommorrow.

Vote 5 in the Poll and comment below if you want on these movies.

The Godfather 1 & 2
GoodFellas
Superman 1 & 2
Eastern Promises
310 to Yuma
Serenity
Love Actually
The Holiday
Meet the Parents
Meet the Fockers
Moulin Rouge
School of Rock
SlapShot
Batman Begins
The Mummy 1 & 2
Shawshank Redemption
Wall-E
The Incredibles
Anchorman
What About Bob
Groundhog Day
My Cousin Vinny
Kill Bill 1 & 2

well they were from the discount 5-10 dollar racks so what do you expect.

Anyway, there is not 1 movie of the 30 you like?

Why are Yuma and Promises paired together? Just wondering...

cause there are only 20 slots and I wanted to list them both...so they are like an either or pick. And people can comment seperately on them anyway.

This is greatly incorrect.

My Cousin Vinny!

Imagine you're a deer. You're prancing along. You get thirsty. You spot a little brook. You put your little deer lips down to the cool, clear water - and BAM!. A FUCKIN' bullet rips off part of your head. Your brains are lying on the ground in little bloody pieces. Now I ask ya, would you give a fuck what kind of pants the son-of-a-bitch who shot you was wearing?

GOODFELLAS
YUMA/PROMISES
(Watch both :P - I guess if I had to pick I'd say YUMA)
MOULIN ROUGE
KILL BILL
LOVE ACTUALLY

Actually, I'd wait until the months of November and December to watch LOVE ACTUALLY. Especially after Thanksgiving, but before Christmas.

Reminds me of my local pawn shop. All DVD's are $2 (no matter how new) so I've been stocking up.

I agree with Variante, which ones haven't you seen?

Seen them all ( just added to stock my collection at a reasonable price ) so I am asking for the people's vote....and also noting that every movie has received a vote.

I was assuming you'd seen none of them. What's the point in asking this then? ;) Watch whatever you're in the mood to watch.

Nope. I disagree. I wanted to see what are the FAVs of the group so I can watch it as a study piece.

Anyway the poll has given me some picks I wouldn't have thought of on the first day.

Neither are really that great. The second act of promises is magnificent but the first is very slow.
All of yuma is good but not that impressive.

Moulin Rogue, Kill Bill, Incredibles, Shawshank, Wall-e.

I haven't seen a few of these though, so maybe there are good.

I would go out instead of sitting in watching 5 films in a row.

You'll go crosseyed.

I won't push it. If needed some will fall to Monday. Anyway, wanted a day of rest at home so just going to relax.

so with 60 + votes by about 15 people, here the the choices...(looks like a clear split between the ones picked and not picked)

so turns out 10 were picked so will start on Sunday and go through the week. Did a early double header this morning, watched The Incredibles and Moulin Rouge.

Wall-E 14% [ 9 ]
The Incredibles 11% [ 7 ]
Kill Bill 1 & 2 11% [ 7 ]
Batman Begins 8% [ 5 ]
Love Actually 6% [ 4 ] (4 gets the tie-breaker for the 5th spot)
Moulin Rouge 6% [ 4 ]
Shawshank Redemption 6% [ 4 ]
Eastern Promises/310 to Yuma 8% [ 5 ] added due to maybe 4 votes for 1 of these movies.

**********************

GoodFellas 3% [ 2 ]
School of Rock 3% [ 2 ]
The Godfather 1 & 2 3% [ 2 ]
Superman 1 & 2 1% [ 1 ]
Serenity 1% [ 1 ]
The Holiday 1% [ 1 ]
Meet the Parents/Meet the Fockers 3% [ 2 ]
SlapShot 1% [ 1 ]
The Mummy 1 & 2 3% [ 2 ]
Anchorman 1% [ 1 ]
What About Bob/Groundhog Day 1% [ 1 ]
My Cousin Vinny 1% [ 1 ]

You may select up to 5 options
