Just a Grill Movie Thread/Not Future Movie Gossip. Sacha!
New Question as people liked him as Borat > Is Cohen best as Jean Girard, Borat, Bruno, Ali G.
********
Do you consider Sacha Baron Cohen's Bruno & Borat funny?
Now let me say, these characters are OK for a SNL skit or in a small amount but to make a movie around them where most of the scenes are set-ups or spiked with bathroom/idiot humor, sorry but that is just not for me.
After reading up on Todd Phillips, director of Old School and Hangover, I like this, Todd Phillips, guy even more >>> from his IMDB bio >>>> Originally meant to direct Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan (2006), however he quit the production after shooting the infamous rodeo/"Star Spangled Banner" scene, due to creative differences with Sacha Baron Cohen.

so most like those characters, ok time for the next question![vimeo][/vimeo]

LOVE Borat! I haven't seen anything with the Bruno character besides the trailer for the movie, but it seems funny so I said yes to both.

No. Cheap laughs. That's all. So many comedies are better even Ferrell's shtick.

I never saw Borat in theaters. I thought it wouldn't be that funny, and I thought I would be annoyed by it. When I saw it on DVD I was kicking myself for not having seen it earlier. I was laughing my ass off. I'm sold on Bruno already.

What about Adolfo Pirelli?
