I was browsing through yahoo and saw this http://movies.yahoo.com/movies/feature/ ... arkly.html I had forgotten about this movie but I think the trailer looks great and the animation seems even better than in Waking Life. BTW is it just me or does that image of Winona Ryder look like Brooke Shields. |

They should specifically advertise this unique kind of animation. It should interest teens who might not otherwise see this movie. |

Does anyone else think that if you remove the filming style, you'd be left with a fairly generic and boring sci-fi film? I dunno. Just a feeling I get from the trailer. |

Well c'mon guys, this is Richard Linklater we're talking about, let's see what he can do. Yeah, it's really not a great bunch of actors though. But this is just the teaser. |

Well, it's not like a Philip K. Dick story has never been turned into a bad film. Paycheck, Impostor, Screamers... those all stink. Don't give this film a slide simply because it's based on a Dick story. I sorta liked Waking Life, too, but it was ridiculously pretentious. |

I found it very stupid and boring. The style was cool though. |

Looks pretty interesting, even though I have absolutely no clue what the plot is from watching the trailer. The cast isn't that bad. Ryder and Downey Jr. are top banana - or at least were before their problems took the limelight away from their work. Keanu Reeves ain't that bad in this kind of role and Woody Harrelson was the bomb in Kingpin, yo. |

Nice try, baba, but there's no such thing. Canadian movies are just something your mother tells you about in an effort to keep you under control. As in, "You be good, or the Canadian movie will come in the night and steal your eyes!!". |

just because you're Snrub's friend does not mean you have to laugh at his comments. He'll still play with you at night if you disagree with him once or twice. |

Rumbled!! see? i support you in public, and we get mocked! it doesn't happen often, so enjoy it. for the record, we're now officially quits over a certain gym incident. and an incident with a torch and a drunken threat. and that fateful social monday that started with a pillow fight, and ended in tears... ![]() |

bABA wrote: WAKING LIFE! I said I "kinda liked" it earlier, but that really meant "it looked cool, but that's it." Seriously, it's the most pretentious film i've ever seen. It's like sitting in a coffe shop with a bunch of philosophy students rambling on about some gobley-gook you could give two shits about for two hours. What a blast! |

You think a paltry smiley and a half-hearted *lol* evens the score? what are you wittering about? evens the score? all i said was, it makes up for three specific incidents, which i had the good grace to list for you. overall, the balance is definitely in my favour.
