I mean the commercials look pretty good and I dig a Good Werewolf movie just as much as anyone else, but the last REAL Werewolf movie was back in 1979 with The HOWLING and I guess Amercian Werewolf In London as well, both of which were Rated R and for good reason.. Can a PG-13 Werewolf movie pull it off??? :-k Will you be seeing this movie despite it's PG-13 rating or wait for the DVD in the hope of a "Directors Cut" R-Rated Edition?? Hmmm.. :-k

Otherwise - no.

Is there ANYTHING else next weekend?

Hmmph. If I want to see a new release, maybe I'll settle for Diary of a Mad Black Woman, which I relaly have no interest in. But, Cursed? I haven't even watched many of the trailers but I've got a suspicion that we won't get a decent thriller/horror until The Jacket or High Tension.

Wow.. Not much enthusiasm for this movie CURSED... Is it because of the PG-13 Rating or is it because the trailer or story really isn't grabbing you?? :-k I would've thought there'd be more people wanting to see this but perhaps I'm wrong on this?? :-k Hmmm..

There are people that want to see this. You won't find many people here, though.

I'll see it. I have about zero anticipation because of the PG13 gutting it got, but I love myself a werewolf film, and the tv spots are actually better than I thought they would be. Wes Craven is a great director, too, even though I know this isin't his true vision.

I definitely think I'm gonna check it out, if for the mere curiousity of seeing how much they gutted this movie...

I think Wes Craven sucks. All previews for this movie looked generic and utter crap. I have no interest in this one.

I thought what Wes and Kevin did with Scream was brill.

But I'm an adult and I like certain movies to be geared to my age group. I can't accept a PG-13 horror film about werewolves.

PG-13 drama, fine. Or comedy. Or action. Or sci-fi. But werewolf movies are meant to be R. :???:

I actually watched part of Scream 2 last night. I wish we had more horror movies that were self-aware, funny and creepy at the same time as that and the original Scream were.

I might consider seeing it, except I wouldn't have any time. I still have to see M$B, Constantine, and Hotel Rwanda.By the time I've gotten around to seeing those movies, Be Cool and Robots will already be out. In short, Cursed interests me, but there are alot of movies that interest me more.

I am going to see Man of the House. I think it looks funny and it has gotten great audience reactions at my theater when the trailer was shown before Meet the Fockers and Hitch.
