From your list I'd pick Cary Grant, but there were many others I'd vote for. |

Since there are only 10 spots, you can see that I did the actors - even though I needed about 25 polling lines. So on the actress, I didn't want to mix them up. But you are welcome to mention your favorite actresses here. |

The Maltese Falcon stands out for me as his pivotal role, i love it more than any of his. African Queen and Casablanca, i did not like too much, tbh i havent seen much of them, but what i have seen did ot impress me at all. He did one about a boat, and he is a Captain, a grumpy one, but he dies....or gets repremanded by his staff and there is a courtcase, very good movie. |

Yes on Bogart, the Maltese Falcon was a classic role. And I think the boat movie you mentioned at the end was the African Queen. And the other movie was the Caine Mutiny with a great role by Bogart and a good performance with Fred MacMurray as an cowardly officer. |

Mine might be Audrey Hepburn. Then others would include - off the top of my head. Lauren Bacall Lucielle Ball Jean Authur Marilyn Monroe Rita Hayworth Marlene Dietrich Myrna Loy Loretta Young Gene Tierney Jean Simmons |
