I like Rocky and First Blood best out of the Stallone catalogue.

Here are some of Stallone's more interesting points from his IMDB biography.

At 15, his classmates voted him the one "most likely to end up in the electric chair."

Stallone was paid a mere $60,000 to do Cop Land (1997). It is said that he did the film to play a serious role and escape his action hero cast type.

Was originally slated to play Detective Axel Foley in Beverly Hills Cop (1984). The role went to Eddie Murphy instead.

Has a total of five children, Sage & Seargeoh with 1st wife Sacha and Sophia, Sistine & Scarlet with 3rd wife Jennifer = he really likes names starting with S.

Was 24-years-old when he got his first starring role in the porno "The Party at Kitty and Stud's" (which was re-released and re-named "The Italian Stallion" after Stallone's "Rocky" success), in which he played the role of "Stud". He was paid $200 to play the sex-craved gigolo and appeared in almost every scene nude.

Broke up with then-girlfriend Jennifer Flavin by sending her a "Dear Jane" letter via FedEx. They later reconciled and married.

Has his look-alike puppet in the French show "Guignols de l'info, Les" (1988).

Turned down the role of John McClane in Die Hard (1988). The part went to Bruce Willis instead.

As of 2004 is the all time Razzie Award champion, with a record 30 nominations and 10 "wins", more than any other person in history.

I like Rocky and Rambo:First Blood.
Cliffhanger was cool too. Could have been better but it was in some kind fresh.

Taken from above

Was originally slated to play Detective Axel Foley in Beverly Hills Cop (1984). The role went to Eddie Murphy instead. ( I wonder if he was written more as a comedy for Murphy. )

Turned down the role of John McClane in Die Hard (1988). The part went to Bruce Willis instead.

------

The above makes you wonder about parts taken and turned down as the above were the great starring parts for Murphy and Willis.

What could have been different for Stallone, Willis and Murphy if ...................

Out of Towners, that is incorrect, he is not in that, infact he was in Prisonder of 2nd Avenue in 1974 as the "mistaken pickpocket", whether its called a different name, i do not know, but the year is changed, weird!

I respect what IMDb have found out, but i know more than them about Stallone movies.

Sly's best film is Rocky IV, then Rambo: First Blood Part II, then Rambo III, then Get Carter 2000 and then Rocky. All his films are brilliant!

Also, The Good Life (also called 'My Little Hollywood') has never been released. I wish to god it would!!!!

I used to worship Stallone when I was a kid. I remember I was too young to watch Rambo: First Blood part 2 when it first came out, so to stop my petulant tears my mother rented me First Blood, Rocky, Rhinestone and F.I.S.T to watch while she and my dad went to the cinema.

When I saw F.I.S.T. (this is gonna contain spoilers, so if you haven't seen F.I.S.T and want to... why? It's a bit shit and frankly you'd be better off spending the two hours taking a walk or baking a cake) I was too young to understand that Stallone was anyone other than Rambo or Rocky, so when he died at the end of the film I was convinced that Rambo had been killed. I barricaded myself in my tiny bedroom and didn't stop crying for hours. Not just little sobs either, it was full on, snot-filled bawling that could be heard throughout the house.

A part of me died that day...

Anyway, my favourite Stallone film is Rocky IV, but by accident I voted for First Blood in the poll.

F.I.S.T. is not shit. More mature movie-goers may see things differently.

..but YES snrub, you have the same favourite film as i do!!!! :)

I own it, he isnt even in it. Well, he must b in it somewhere, but he isnt noticeable.

@Nazgul, i am not Mr. Stallone himself, it would not offend me.
