My list:

1- Darth Vader ( Star Wars )
2- The Joker ( The Dark Knight )
3- Alex ( A Clockwork Orange )
4- Hannibal Lecter ( Silence of the Lambs )
5- John Doe ( Seven )
6- Amon Goeth ( Schindler's List )
7- John 'Jack' Daniel Torrance ( The Shining )
8- Hans Gruber ( Die Hard )
9- Annie Wilkes ( Misery )
10- Sauron ( The Lord of the Rings )

Just a small advice: Next time you post a list, it's better if you do it one-by-one and not post the complete list at once. You will probably have more replies as it makes it more suspenseful for people to see what's next.

As for your list, most are good choices although I wouldn't put Alex or Jack Torrance in it, especially the second one.
I feel a good villain has to be aware of what he is doing, and his evilness must be plannedor at least he/she is aware of it. Torrance is just crazy, so he has no control over his actions, unlike people like John Doe.
