Quote: 20th Century Fox logo Shot of military convoy, two motorcycles leading a van(presumably carrying Klaatu). Voiceover:"Attention Everyone...please move to the courtyard....." Jon Hamm to Jennifer Connelly; "its very important I have you on this team"(hurrying away) "Dont be afraid" Connelly; "Afraid of what?" several quick shots Keanu Reeves at table(wired with sensors) being interrogated...Scientist says something about establishing questions. "Are you in a seated position?" "yes" "Do you feel pain?" "My body does" "are you here?" My body is" "do you know of an imminent attack.....on the planet earth?" Reeves: "you should really let me go" Quick shots of soldiers , a large metallic orb rising out of the ground, Connelly running, low shots of several NY landmarks (Empire State Building, St Patricks Cathedral) with celestial glowing light behind them, soldiers in woods with glowing light from behind trees Soldier: "Did you feel that?" Shot of what looks to be Yankee Stadium being destroyed, several other quick shots, crowd of people bathed in glowing light Title on black: The Day The Earth Stood Still Reeves to Connelly: "if the earth dies, you die. If you die, the earth lives". Got this from superherohype forums Looks like it will be a decent movie. |

Sounds like it's been updated/revised with blowing up landmarks. Idk, it sounds interesting and I always enjoy watching the original. I hope they don't make Gort look flashy and keep it low key. |

i'd rather watch the actual thing than read a description first...but is there any idea when we'll see this? This month, presumably? |
