"Christopher Guest has joined the cast as Ivan the Terrible in the newly-titled Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian.

Also joining the cast are Jon Bernthal (Al Capone), Bill Hader (Gen. George Armstrong Custer) and French actor Alain Chabat (Napoleon).

The film, directed by Shawn Levy, reunites lead Ben Stiller with castmates Robin Williams, Ricky Gervais and Owen Wilson."

I just hope it'll be a bit better than the predecessor which wasn#t terrible, but could have done so much more with the premise.

I found Attila the Hun in the first film to be a riot.

Also when they had Octavian and the Cowboys fighting it was funny.

I just like the historical jokes and found the rest to be very stupid.

However if there are more historical jokes it would funny.

I'm loving this cast and I don't think I can avoid seeing it, even if it IS directed by Sir Shawn Levy.

Napolen can be a funny character.

Ivan the Terrible could be interesting. Also Napoleon could be very funny.

+ this is not exactly the character you would put in a family comedy, IMO... I mean, he is not funny.

Christopher Guest has played a menacing character before. He played Count Rugan in The Princess Bride he sure wasn't funny in that movie. He was an evil bastard in fact.

Attila sucks his balls compared to Ivan. Anyways, I'm looking forward to see some stereotypical jokes about Russians - it is always funny.
