With a release date of March 11th, which is already crowded. Dimension decided to move their movie Mindhunters to May 27th ... look at how long it's taking for them to release this ... Release Date Notes: (1/31/03) This film was orginally scheduled for release in April, 2003, and then on August 22nd, 2003. Now, Dimension has bumped this back *another* five months, to January of next year. (10/25/03) Dimension has decided to release My Baby's Daddy on January 9th instead, so this movie has been bumped back another two weeks to January 23rd, 2004. (1/19/04) In a rather last minute move, the news came out this week via FilmJerk.com that Dimension has quietly removed this movie from the 1/23 release date. There's no word about when they might release it, but it should be sometime later this year. My hunch is August... probably late August. Or maybe early September. (2/3/04) Never mind that! Dimension is indeed aiming for Summer, but early rather than late: June 4th, 2004. (4/29/04) This movie's competition on June 4th has long been Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban , which made it obvious that this Val Kilmer movie wasn't going to open at #1. Well, it might still have a chance at that distinction at some later time, because Miramax has decided to yank it from June and is looking for a new date, possibly in early 2005. (7/6/04) Miramax is indeed aiming for sometime in 2005 now. (11/24/04) The film is now set to open March 11th, 2005. (1/31/05) Another move to May 27th, 2005. Well, last night I watched the movie, and it really wasn't that bad. It has great death scenes, but by the end it got a little stupid. I'd give it a 5/10 (C-) but it can definetely go up with another watch of the film. I wish they'd just release it. Here's the plot, trailer, MPAA rating, and release date, yet again. Action/Adventure, Thriller and Crime/Gangster 1 hr. 46 min. On a remote island, the FBI has a training program for their psychological profiling division, called "Mindhunters", used to track down serial killers. The training goes horribly wrong, however, when a group of seven young agents discover that one of them is a serial killer, and is setting about slaying the others. Can the few that are left figure out who the killer is in time? Release Date: May 27th, 2005 (wide). MPAA Rating: R for violence/strong graphic images, language and sexual content. Distributor: Dimension Films Starring: Val Kilmer, LL Cool J, Christian Slater, Eion Bailey, Clifton Collins Jr. http://movies.yahoo.com/shop?d=hv&id=18 ... cf=trailer |

I don't really think it's a "good" movie. It's not terrible or anything, it basically just a fun time waster. |
