You got to mix the good with the bad in these awards, half of them are shitty (Transformers? Step-Up 2?) whilst some where very good (Will Smith :thumbsup: )

Overall, not worthy of any credibility.

dib, people vote to decide these. Transformers was very worthy of mtv best film; its more "most entertaining".

the downey jr, ben stiller, j ack black skit was hilarious...with stillers nephew and stiller says hes a huge iron man fan; rdj likes him, kid says bale would kick his ass, tdk will be better, rdj tries to fight him, jack black intervenes...

The good:

Johnny Depp winning awards for both Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End and Sweeney Todd. Both were in my top five for last year.

Ellen Page winning Best Female Performance, although I would have preferred Amy Adams.

Will Smith winning for his underrated turn in I Am Legend.

Iron Man for "Best Summer Movie So Far," although it was obvious it was going to win and the award itself is really stupid.

The bad:

Just about everything else. Come on people, Transformers is NOT a great movie. It's an average actioner at best, and not even Michael Bay's strongest film. I groaned when that was announced as the winner. In addition, the fact that Step Up 2 The Streets and especially Never Back Down won anything is hilarious to me. Breakthrough Performance I didn't really care about. It should have been Blonsky, Rogen or one of the Superbad guys but at least it wasn't the incredibly annoying and untalented Megan Fox.

Those were probably the worst awards/fake awards winners I've ever seen.

I don't get it. Will those movies then still be viable nominees for next year? ;)
