I assume most people on this site eventually see at least 70% of the films in a given year between January and mid-July of the following year.

Incidentally, Max Payne almost made my worst-of list, and it is perhaps the worst film I've paid money to see in a theater setting since I saw Free Willy.

Well, there's my rough list for 2008 - - there sure has been a heap of crappy movies this year - - it's gonna be hard to pare it down to the bottom ten!

...of what I can remember, and if it isn't remembered that's even worse for them.

Naturally, all of us have some semblance of what we like and therefore choose to see a movie if we are actually interested in it at first so movies like 'The Hottie & the Nottie' should never be on these lists which makes 'Worst Movies' lists kind of under-researched, but again, it's not like anyone wants to waste their time making a good 'Worst Movies' list.
And those who tell off other people that 'you've only seen the trailer, the movie is better' remarks should reserve themselves I guess, I think I have also been part of that, because obviously if someone judges the trailer which is supposed to make people interested, badly then what's the point in going to see something which has a high chance of you not liking it?
