Post subject:  Anyone seeing Beauty Parlor?
I saw the preview today and it looked like it could be fun. I liked the original Barbershop, and somehow the second one didn't call me at all, so a spin-off of even that seems to be going the wrong way on a one way track. But I guess it seemed full of one-liners, and Kevin Bacon's role seemed hilarious. Its going to be cute and feel-good, and not going to have the hidden pearl aspect that the original Barbershop did. I don't know, I'm straddling the fence on this one. But I really thought I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole, now I'm not so sure.

Anyways, no. I might see it on DVD, but I'm avoiding it completely in theaters. The first two were great, but I don't think this is necessary.

Queen Latifah is decent. I am going to wait for DVD to see this cause around that time I will be seeing either Guess Who, Miss Congeniality 2, Sin City, or Ring Two.
