 Has anyone here actually seen Manos Hand of Fate? Its the only movie that keeps regaining its number one position as the worst movie ever at IMDB. For those who have seen, what makes the movie so bad? I dont know how many of those are actually bogus ratings

Its a terrible film! cinemetogrophy, acting, let me not get in to the ending!
hobgoblins was worse though i thought then this.

I've only see the MST3K version.
The saddest thing about Manos isin't the film, though. It's what happened after the film. Four of the cast members killed themselves, and the movie was given a gala premiere in El Paso (where it was shot), and a lot of important people of El Paso showed up (the Mayor and such). Half way through, people in the audience started to heckle the movie. Most of the film's stars and crewmembers left before the end out of embarrassment.

If you rent the MST3k version, the actual film is on the flip side.

no it isnt on the dvd cause i do have a friend that has that and it dosnt have a flip side

Got mine from Scarecrow video in Seattle a few years ago. All the origional films were on the flip side of the disks.
It's quite possible that the studio reproducing the MST3k discs no longer has the rights to all the films.

So the movie is still bad but entertaining because Tom Servo and the bots provide the laugh track for it? Would it be tolerable without the three silhoutes providing commentary?

It's not fun-to-watch-awful like something like Hobgoblins or Catwoman, it's painful and slow.

these were the films i thought were the worse:
Manos, Hobgoblins, Batwoman, Final Justice, Space Munity (although thats my favorite episode)
