YES!!!!!!! Apparently, WHITE NOISE has made enough $$$ to have a Sequel Greenlit according to the link above, along with the Japanese Horror Film "Ju On"(Isn't that The RING for the U.S Version??) :-k Either way, no word yet on whether The Great Michael Keaton will Return, but Considering he's part of the WHITE NOISE now upon his death, it would make sense..

sequals normally suck though. And other then him haunting his poor kid IU don't really sede what good asnother would do. the first was good but making another one is going alittle to far.

Hell, that can best be said about most sequels, but $$$ is where it's at and it will draw an audience like all sequels do..

I dont know how well White Noise2 will do, from what I hear alot of people disliked it, but I might see it soon, make up my own mind.

Grudge 2 on the other hand might do alright.

Now The Grudge is Rated what??? PG-13 or R Rated??? I mean, I'm very surprised this movie is still doing as well as what it is and if it is PG-13, Then PG-13 Horror can't be all that bad now can it?? :-k

Horror movies shouldnt be judged by their rating but by the quality of the script and directing. Some horror movies should be R others dont have to be, it really depends if they were ment to be R from the get go or not.

Now I haven't seen The Grudge yet and my best friends wife has been wanting tosee it with her sister for the longest time and still hasn't.. Have you seen this movie and if so, was this film filmed as an R Rated movie or PG-13??? Is there anything in the movie that would make it R Rated???

IM glad to see a sequel for the grudge, but I cannot show my distaste enough for a sequel to white noise. The first was torture enough...we really dont need a second

It Pleases me to no end to see a sequel to WHITE NOISE, if for the very reason to see you express your distaste for a film that was a success... =D> Pure Bliss folks.. =D> Let's hope The Great Michael Keaton comes back for seconds..

LISTEN.

The rating of a movie has nothing to do with the quality of it, and no one here has ever said that it does.

What we are angry about are R rated movies - that are shot specifically for a R rating - being cut down to PG-13. We don't not like PG-13 horror just because it's rated PG-13. PG-13 horror can be great, and often is. What we don't like is studio tampering for the sake of making a couple extra bucks at the expense of the overall quality of the film - in this case editing down a R rated film to get a PG-13 rating.

Now, please - stop talking about this.

There were two versions filmed. One was the "R cut" and one was the "PG-13 cut". They chose to release the PG-13 cut in theaters, but I believe the R cut is the DVD version.

Now, about the White Noise sequel...

Completey ignoring the fact that the first was terrible, where could they possibly go with the story in the sequel? Things seemed to be pretty much wrapped up.

WHITE NOISE RULED and as far as a sequel is concerned, I'm sure they'll come up with a good storyline for it but they need to bring back Michael(The REAL Batman)Keaton for it.. =D>

I really think "White Noise 2" is a bad idea. I mean, the first one had a great showing on pure luck, lack of competition and advertisement appeal. The movie itself wasnt exactly well loved and making a sequel to a moderate hit is a bad idea

The Grudge on the other hand is considered to be one of the scariest films ever by many, and a well timed sequel should prove fruitfull.

They should call the sequel BLACK NOIZE and have the ghosts of Tupac and Biggie trying to rap from the other side.

Definately, i know of alot of people, myself included, that consider it to be truly one of the scariest movies ever.
A girl in a multiplex around 1 hour away apparently passed out during a showing my friend Dawn was at. But i saw my sisters boyfriend grab her hand more than once during the movie, and she could barely watch it.

I myself thank the lord for making popcorn boxes non-transparent. :D

Imo if cheap shots that make you jump are all you want, then The Grudge is definitely for you. Thats the type of scary the movie is.

Oh come on... Passed out??? Really??? :-k Over a movie??? I don't believe that and if this is truly the scariest movie you've ever seen, then you haven't seen many scary movies or you get scared very easily.. Maybe it's the age or something, but I just don't get scared by horror movies, at least the last time I recall was when I was 12 years old when I saw BLACK CHRISTMAS and The EXORCIST.. Back in those day, we had never experienced any horror movie like that, but today, the multiplexes are saturated with horror movies..
