I did not see this posted yet so here you go

Weaving ("The Matrix" and "The Lord of the Rings" trilogies) will play Det. Aberline. Del Toro will play the hirsute title character and Anthony Hopkins his dad. Blunt has been cast as the female lead in the project, which Joe Johnston will direct.

Filming begins next month in London.

David Self did a rewrite of Andrew Kevin Walker's script. The movie is produced by Scott Stuber, Mary Parent, Sean Daniel and Rick Yorn.

Damn Weaving Hopkins Emily Blunk and Del Toro. What a interesting cast.

May I just say that I am a MONSTER fan of the original Wolf Man. *rimshot* :giggle:

I hope Benicio gets that Lon Chaney Jr. whine down. There's no shame in whining after getting bitten by a wolf. Sir Anthony Hopkins, Hugo Weaving, and the delightful Emily Blunt round out a superb cast. Johnston has also proven to be a very competent director. I've got high hopes for this one!

Are they planning on it having a central love story/tragedy or something? Why release something like this for Valentine's Day, otherwise?

Despite the fact that Hopkins and Del Torro look nothing alike, this will be tough for me, the Lon Chaney films are some of my favorite

And I'd like to thank you, because your brain dead bipolar comment reminded me exactly why I decided to get away from the internet in the first place.

I won't be back for anymore movie discussions, because that type of stuff is what killed my enthusiasm.
