Man-Thing. Who didn't see this coming?
http://superherohype.com/news.php?id=2502
This project was doomed according to me from the get go. It never seemed like anyone was taking this seriously, it always remained in obscurity and i doubt it even had a marketing budget to begin with. I'm glad they decided to take the route they have. saves us the trouble of filtering through another hero movie at the cinema for the sake of releasing it. I'll try to catch this on the sci fi channel though.

Man-Thing has been in production longer than most of the movies you've seen. It was being made from the time when daredevil itself was in production.

Oh right.
Even so, if its taking this long to make, maybe its not worth it.

Back in August, I read a comic book that was a prequel of sorts to the movie (I guess they originally planned Man-thing to have a fall 2004 release). It was pretty good, but the movie would need starpower to have any appeal to a mainstream audience. It should do well on DVD, but probably not well enough considering its relatively high budget for a direct-to-DVD movie.

"Man-Thing" sounds like a dirty movie.
"I'm going to see Man-Thing" isn't really something I want to say a lot.

its not surprising. i forget which one is based off the other but they're both actually related .. i think they're written by different comic companies.
