I'm having difficulty deciding on which movie to pick to see for my last film of 2007.

I'm a sucker for romances like P.S. I Love You and it might provide a nice platform for year end reflections, but I'm also thinking that a third viewing of Walk Hard would be in the spirit of a celebratory New Year's Eve...

I haven't been able to decide yet, but in the meantime, I'm going to see National Treasure 2 this afternoon.

Please vote in my poll and help me decide...

See the romance, simply based on the fact that you saw the other film already.

Neither :P.

I guess if I had to say then I'd go with P.S. I LOVE YOU for the same reason Lecter mentioned.

oh, I voted before seeing that you've already seen Walk Hard, but it needs the box office badly, so

My policy this year was to cut back on multiple viewings of movies in favor of seeing more movie once, with some exceptions such as Hairspray.

The movie that I don't see tonight, I will be seeing in January anyway...

But my issue tonight is that it's going to be my final movie of 2007 - - my dilemna is figuring out which one might best suit my New Year's Eve experience tonight...

Your votes and comments are most appreciated!

Wait.

You're going to the movies on New Year's Eve?

Please don't tell me you're going to be inside a movie theater at midnight.

Errr... yeah, but that's okay, my life is far from the pitiful tragedy that might suggest. I just happen to be taking a break from external time-space celebrations like that, I'm on something of a spiritual quest at the moment...

Screw those two movies, you should definitely see The Dark Knight instead.

That actually sounds like a better idea than being at a party when the clock hits midnight.

Libs, you're not one of those people that thinks unless you're out at some mass celebration, you're having a shitty New Year's Eve are you?

No.

But...you're inside a movie theater. It's like you're not even acknowledging the calendar has turned a page.

even my loner uncle, says he stays till 1 and cracks open a bottle of champagne at midnight.

Then he drinks to another pathetic year of existence...

Honestly, I'm probably just staying home and watching DVDs tonight. But then again, I'm 17, so short of being dragged somewhere by my family or my friends calling me to do something, I don't really have much else to do.

If the choice is between those two films, I'd say Walk Hard, but there are very few chick flicks I ever find to be that appealing so I'm a bit biased in that respect.

You should see P.S. I Love You and then tell us about the merits of Scott Holleran's review.

When I left for the show tonight, the poll was all tied up at 6 - 6.

Thanx a lot everyone...

So I had to let fate take it's course, and as the time worked out and my mood launched towards celabration, I chose Dewey Cox to shepherd me through the new year transitional interface. As it turns out, I made a wise choice. This has most deservedly become my #1 film of '07...

I would like once again, to thank those who offered input to my thread and poll - - it was most appreciated. As I mentioned before... I hope everyone has the best 2008 they've ever had!!!

You actually paid to see WALK HARD 2 times and thought it was funny enough to warrant a 3rd viewing?? Really??? You thought this movie was THAT good cause the TV Spots do absolutely nothing for me, but if you enjoyed it, that's what counts I suppose..
