Seriously, some or sexy, some are horrific, some look like an ooze of puckered mess, and some are just a strip of spandex. But there are better and worse ones. Why did the second Catwoman (Berry's) mask not become as memorable as Pfieffer's (acting aside...I'm talking about costume). Or are the two not seperateable. There are horror masks that come from B-film campy movies that have terrible acting, so that's not what makes the mask. What makes the mask?::

hes not really much of a character either.

Personally I like the masks that strike fear into the hearts of people. As for what makes a mask memorable is how the reputation of the person donning the mask is perceived. Anyone wearing a hockey mask would look like a fool but put it on Jason Voorhees, it scares the shit of of most people. I guess the reason why people dont remember Halle's mask was because Halle had more attention than the movie itself while Batman Returns really concentrates on the Batman name

Sweetie Dahling....are we going to have a masquerade section? Because if so all the phatom fans simple must make cameos in the the thread.

Nice one there on Zorro and The Princess Bride. I like that Zorro version, it gets alot of bad rap considering it was good clean fun.

Oh, dear. Nearly every slasher film has a masked man in it. One that immediately comes to mind is Stagefright, and amazing little slasher gem that features a killer with a gaint owl head as a mask. Fucking nice.
