Wait, did Delpy beat Kate... or is she just not on the list

If Hawke made the list, Delpy is easily on here. Didn't Sunset also beat Eternal Sunshine on the Movies list?

And Bale? Wow.

Denzel Washington, Training Day (2001)

Now that is the most overrated performance on the whole list.

One wildcard I think is Hoffman, his Graduate and Midnight Cowboy work could either be in the upcoming top 25 or not on the list at all... depends how many people have seen the movies. If anything Id much rather him get it for MC btw.

So Scissorhands made it. Definitely one of Depp's best.

Now, can Jack Sparrow made the top 10?

Ah and here comes Depp... not the biggest Johnny bandwagoner Im afraid

His Pirates performance is going to be embarassingly high

Here comes an all-time classic:

#24
Marlon Brando, On the Waterfront (1954)

Post subject:  Re: WOKJ's 100 Greatest Performances: Live! (Into the top 50)

So since #40 we had no older performance than 1990 with the exception of Raging Bull which was 1980. That's pathetic.

With the advances in technology of COURSE the acting would get better!

I like his Streetcar performance more, though both are great. I think if more people had seen Streetcar he and Vivien wouldve made the list as high as this.

Considering its influence, he should really be higher. But for KJ, that's pretty good.

Great performance, but IMO he was better in Eternal Sunshine (and I liked him even more than Winslet in it)
