Got a surge of support late to push it to this position. First total idiotic pick... It's a great pick.

Levy's worst fear came true:
#57 Russell Crowe, Gladiator (2000)
Never understood the love for the performance, which doesn't compare to almost any other ones Crowe have given (The Insider, L.A. Confidential, A Beautiful Mind, even Cinderella Man and Master and Commander).

At least the pain from last pick should be offset by this one:
#56 James Stewart, Rear Window (1954)

Confidential American Gangster A Beautiful Mind Gladiator Cinderella Man

Hmm, I always thought Crowe's turn in Gladiator was his second-strongest after A Beautiful Mind.

That's 4 for Stewart. #55 Helen Mirren, The Queen (2006)Finally another female performance, and one that I adore.

Deserving for Mirren. The best female performance of last year definitely.

It's sad that I'm still the first one to actually have 30,000...

This thread is going to help both Levy and me to get closer to our next respective milestones too (10,000 and 15,000).

Sadly, I've gotta leave for a bit again. Back to studying, next exam is on Friday.
