Actually, she is.

Arnold in T2 is actually quite underrated. By far his best.

I think that Welles acting is the weakest part of his involvement in Kane. He is good in it, just not outstanding, especially when compared with the direction and the writing.

Still, I'm liking this list much better than the top 100 movie list.

Orson Wells, Citizen Kane (1941)

That's beause we didn't think KJers were that smart. Coooool.

It got 9 votes, not bad and would've been in the top 100 anyway, but the 3 top 6s really helped.

I think this list is helped by the fact that it wasn't as easy to pick something you just "really like," whch allowed stuff lke Jurassic Park to rank really high.

Ah, there he is. I like the performance but dont love it, Im actually surprised he won for it. Hes better in AB, LA Confidential, and even Glengarry.

And I have to go now. Will catch up on the rest in about an hour.

Best performances are less subjective than favorite movies.

People can hate a movie but still think a performance in it is great.

Yeah, you would have looked real bad if your list would have been like this

Frodo - Lord of the Rings
T.Rex - Jurassic Park
Velociraptor - Jurassic Park
Luke Skywalker - Star Wars

And also running the risk of sounding like a snob, the lesser ballots led to a higher % of non-Zingaling-like people.

Bette Davis, All About Eve (1950)

8 votes, 4 top 20s, including 3 top 3s, just not enough for the top 10. If Levy had put it at No. 1, it would still only move it a couple of spots higher at best.

Could it be that Davis and Weaver are the two highest ranked women? That would make Levy and me very happy.

FUCK

I thought she was a top 10 lock coming in and top 5 contender, and got less and less sure as it went on.

You can organize your own top 100 performances list, Squee. You know, the one with Steve Guttenberg as numero 1. :P

Pfft, my top 100 has a good balance of arty films and blockbusters.

Can YOUR list say that???

I wouldn't be happy. Bette is too low. Someone has probably voted Linda Lovelace higher...
