- US Magazine indicates Bill Murray will have a small, but pivotal part in "Basic Instinct 2: Risk Addiction" which Sharon Stone coaxed him into when they met late last year. Murray will play an American working for Scotland Yard where the male lead is also employed.

Maybe he'll steal the movie and act like he's in a comedy like he did in Wild Things. That might be fun.

Basic Instinct is too long ago for a sequel. It's not even a movie where a sequel is needed. I hope Murray is not doing this.

Jesus I agree.. #-o I mean, seeing a Nude Sharon Stone in her Prime was just fine by me, even briefly implied in TOTAL RECALL, but Christ, 15 years later and you know she's hit the wall at full speed and should hang it up.. As for Murray being in this?? I suppose it can't be any worse than the Lame "Life Aquatic" which has practically fallen off the map, so who knows??

It isn't unreasonable, since Bill Murray had worked with Sharon Stone late last year. (for the filming of "Untitled Jim Jarmusch Project".)

I was actually thinking this exact same thing. If his character is similar to that of his character in Wild Things (which it probably will be, since the movies are so similar), it could be great. He stole the show in Wild Things.

Bill Murray is rubbish regardless of what he is starring in, so he will probably ruin this sequel to Basic Instinct, regardless of what i think about them making this film.

You said it. Sharon Stone used to be so hot. She even looked good as late as Casino. For some reason, she's obsessed with wearing her hair shorter than men (some men :razz: ) do, and she looks like hell. Her sex symbol days are behind her.

Not entirely sure why Bill Murray would bother with something like this, but who knows, it might not be a bad movie. Doesn't sound good on paper.
