Now that ATHF did decently in drawing its fanbase (It should have opened on double the amount of screens), what are the chances of a Robot Chicken movie? A Venture Bros. movie? A sequel to ATHF?

I dont even know how they would make a Robot Chicken movie. Sounds impossible.

I could watch an episode of Robot Chicken for 8+ hours...

Venture Bros. is probably the only other viable option.

Capt. Murphy from Sealab is dead. So no Sealab!

Futurama would not really be an Adult Swim film, it'd be Fox.

Cartoon Network will not be airing the new episodes of Futurama, that will be Comedy Central.

I don't care!

The only people that have been supporting Futurama is Cartoon Network and Adult Swim. They deserve all the fame!!!

Money and clout talks.

Comedy Central has more of both.

Hopefully, not terribly high.

Now Futurama would be a film I would pay to see,its far more superior than the Simpsons. When are they ever going to get the new episodes off the ground

Also owned by Fox. Not gonna happen under Adult Swim's banner

The Brak Show

Show has been dead for years.

Harvey Birdman

Diffcult licensing with this one.

Pee-wee's Playhouse

You have to be kidding.

Robot Chicken
Saul of the Mole Men
Sealab 2021
Space Ghost Coast to Coast

Never happen for obvious reasons, mostly due to some of this being owned by other companies and Sealab's main cast member is DEAD now.

Venture Bros.

This is the only one that I see likely to happen, because it's owned by Adult Swim, is original and is still in production unlike most of the things you listed.

Pee-wee's Playhouse

In every sense of the word... Just not the version most parents would be thrilled with.

I would be pumped for a Futurama movie, and I'm not even a huge fan of the show. I wouldn't mind if they just make a movie over attempting to bring back the show to probable disastrous results(hello, Family Guy).

There were actually rumors of a Pee Wee's Playhouse movie for a while but they sort of died off. That would be one odd movie; if they do it they have to bring back Laurence Fishburne:)

I really hope they make a Venture Bros. movie, it's pretty much the best cartoon show of the 21st Century.

I'm sure there will be more Adult Swim movies. After all, what was the budget of this one? 45 cents? How can it lose money?

Approximately $750,000. Problem is, no matter how small the budget was, 3 million is hardly a good figure. It was very frontloaded.

I think it is a good figure. With no advertising except on adult swim, there was no way this wasn't going to be frontloaded. Already making back your budget on opening day is a good figure, and it will make a lot of money on DVD.

It'll end with what? 6 million? Pretty good considering the budget. Even with the 2 million they had to pay to make up for their terrorist attack it will still be profitable by a good margin once the DVD comes out.

Wasn't Pee-Wee's Big Adventure and Big Top Pee Wee basically the Pee-Wee's Playhouse spin-off movies?

And the remaining profit goes back to recreational use to come up with more ideas for their future episodes even though they probably wont remember it the next day
