I guess the movie will be a very fun action packed adventure movie.

oh btw i am sure this could be the next POTC franchise but better becasue it will have magic, high jumping action and well it is a nice arabian flick.

if its true - christ, another potentially fun movie down the drain. in 2009, michael bay will take you on an adventure full of magic and thrills. michael bay, whose science fiction epic armageddon captured that sense of awe and childlike wonder which is necessary to bring the legendary prince of persia to life. this movie needs to have will smith as a wisecracking djinn.

Well.... if true, on the one hand, it's good to see a video game movie get a big studio support and now a big director attached.

On the other hand, it's fucking Michael Bay, so I probably wont like the movie.

as long as this is directed by michael bay it will be nothing like POTC. It will be more like getting ass raped by a rhino. No fun.

Hmm, how will Bay create explosions in a persian empire?

I don't know if he fits. I don't mind him, but I was expecting a Verbinski, Ridley Scott, Peter Jackson type of player.

Bay definitely chose the right project as he is going to have two hits in a row now after The Island flopped.

My hopes for this movie just went way down.

This should be great actually. No one can say he doesn't make entertaining movies.

Lot of Bay hate in this thread. IMO he may not make the most thought provoking movies in the world but they sure are entertaining.
