The article basically questions their reasoning as they go from making horror films to films for the whole family. Seriously, doesn't every company do that a little bit? I mean, Sony helped release both Hostel and The Gospel, Fox released The Hills Have Eyes films and Their Bigger Picture/Fox Faith line. Why is Lionsgate singled out when everyone else is doing it? Because they've become so well-known for a single type of film over all else? Because they actually know how to best market horror films, a genre that seems to be dying on the vine as of late?
