What film, in your opinion, had the best score of 2004? I know I will get laughed at for this, but my favorite was the retro-Indiana Jones like score of Sky Captain & The World of Tommorow, with runner ups being The Aviator and Ocean 12's hip, funky one. Anyone else? |

The Passion of the Christ Hellboy Troy The Day After Tomorrow Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban The Terminal The Notebook Spider-man 2 Garden State Collateral (void of September and October films I didn't see/didn't download soundtrack) The Incredibles Ocean's Twelve Those are some of the best this year, all IMO of course. My favorite is probably Harry Potter, whcih I listened to at least 70 times this summer. |

I would have to say Alexander and The Passion of the Christ had the best film scores of 2004. |

The Village - composed by James Newton-Howard I also really liked the Alexander score, The Aviator score and the score for Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. |

I'd say the best I've heard are... Collateral, The Village, Fahrenheit 9/11, The Incredibles. The Passion of the Christ had a skilled, epic score, of course, but I found it no more affecting than the haunting bit they used in the trailers. |

Bad Education! Hands Down. Well, everything about this movie was great, but I wass gripped by the score (which apprently plays homage to Hitchcock) right at the opening credits. Everyone go see it, tell me if you agree. http://worldofkj.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=887 |

Add Man on Fire and Hero to my list. Hero's score was incredible. Totally blew me away. |
