I realize it's practically cliche by now to praise Focus Features, but I think most would agree they've garnered such status for a reason. No one's perfect, obviously, (they did release The Ice Harvest, right?) but it's fairly safe to assume that whatever they put out is at least "decent". So what's the best? This list is taken from the Vault at their site...it's not complete, but it's essentially the ones I've seen plus other major players people seem to like. Feel free to list anything though. Lost in Translation Eternal Sushine of the Spotless Mind Pride and Prejudice Far From Heaven Motorcycle Diaries The Shape of Things The Man Who Wasn't There The Constant Gardner My Summer of Love Gosford Park Swimming Pool Broken Flowers Brokeback Mountain 21 Grams The Door in the Floor The Ice Harvest --- Brick Vanity Fair The Pianist That list is in general order from my favorites to least favorites, with the three below the line being ones I've not seen. The first 6 I love, the first ten or so I'd consider "good" or better, with the last 5 or so (above line) ranging from "ok" to "you suck." Any opinions? Anything really good not listed I should seek out? (I'll see the Pianist eventually, and Brick asap (meaning DVD, I'm sure : ())

The only Foucus feature fiims I've seen are Lost in Translation and Pride and Prejudice, but out of those two I'd go with Lost in Traslation

The only ones I don't like from that list are The Door in the Floor, Vanity Fair, Broken Flowers, and I was never a big Far From Heaven fan. My favorite would be Eternal Sunshine.
