| Post subject: | Jet Li vs. Jason Statham (Rogue) - this will be fun |
I just found out a week ago or so that there is an action film starring Jason Statham and Jet Li in the making. The plot of it goes like this: "After his partner is killed by "Rogue" (Li), the infamous assassin who has recently set off a bloody crime war between two rival Asian mobs, FBI agent Jack Crawford (Statham) starts a deadly game of cat and mouse to settle the score." A mindless actioner with Statham and Li as opponents? I am so there! I think that both make great action stars if given the right films and this like it might be one. Of course, both were already together in The One..but that was not..quite...it. |

That movie was a load of crap so i`m not at all anticipating this one. |

The One was a shitty movie, but certainly not the fault of Statham or Jet Li. This sounds like a hard R action film to me, and I'm definitely looking forward to it. Still, I can't help but think that Jet Li would kick the shit out of Statham... |

But Stathams character in Transporter is quite well-trained, so if it's anything like him in this flick, it's close. |

There's a movie coming out this year called Rogue about a rampaging crocodile, so maybe this one will get a name change. |
