I was a big fan of this show back in the 80's with Don Johnson's White Armani Suit, His Ferrari, his Pet Aligator and all the women and Cocaine and Violence.. FANTASTIC STUFF.. Now comes the big screen version of MIAMI VICE with Colin Farrell as Sonny Crocket who was played by Don Johnson and Jamie Foxx as Ricardo Tubb's his partner.. Once again, this is Directed By Michael Mann who's obviously no stranger to the world of Gritty Crime Drama's like HEAT or COLLATERAL.. Above is the link to a teaser.. Thoughts????

You know?? It's been pretty quiet on this movie.. When's it come out??? I do hope this is good and have faith in Mann getting the job done and the plot I'm sure is pretty predictable already.. Probably involves Drug Smuggling like the TV Series did, but Grittier..

Miami Vice has the capability to be the best movie of the year. This is Mann doing what he does best and Foxx and Farrell are perfect for their roles. I hope it's epic sized at around 2hrs30min.

God I hope it's not 150 minutes. That's way too long when you consider even Wolfgan Petersen was able to make a film that runs under 100 minutes.

I love Michael Mann, but hate Colin Farrell. I hope its good, or at least Farell is tolerating, but I've yet to find a starring role that he was good in. But I need another trailer to see if I'll see it opening weekend or not.
