FOX's advertising for X3 looks desperate & depressing
Countless TV spots, countless 7-minute previews. This is getting pretty desperate, even for them.

Yeah, get ready for the 7 Minute Preview Thursday Night during the series finale(Thank God) of That 70's Show.. I wonder if Topher Grace will make an appearance or bow out since Kelso is appearing?? Seems kind of odd everyone still hangs out in the basement when he's no longer on the show...

X3 is their equivalent of Revenge of the Sith this year. I'd expect nothing less.

Doesn't every big movie hammer us with advertising these days? Whats special about X3s?

11 TV Spots
2 Trailers
4 Clips
Why do we even need to watch the movie? This is a disturbing trend.

I rarely watch any tv at the moment so im spared from the main brunt of it. Although I always love those pathetic love-ins about a big movie that you'd see on MTV just before the movie opens where everyone involved would say their movie would bring about the second coming of Jesus it was so good.

I'm not gonna watch any of the TV spots, just so I don't ruin it for me. I'm gonna be there opening day no matter what it looks like.

Fox did this exact same thing with The Day After Tomorrow and it wasn't negatively impacted.
