"One of the best worst movies of the 80s (and that's saying something) is coming back 'atcha. Millennium Films is bringing back RED SONJA with a new movie budgeted at $25 million. I'm not sure if it's a good thing but they're actually planning on taking this version of SONJA seriously as Millennium head Joe Gatta says, "The first movie was not a good one -- all the more reason to remake it." The character of Red Sonja was created by Roy Thomas and Barry Smith and first appeared in an issue of Marvel's "Conan the Barbarian."

dear lord no....

the original is a bit of a guilty pleasure for me, yes, but this is one movie that definitely doesn't need to be remade. the fist one was a bomb, so why remake it???
