Up until The Man Who Wasn't There, the Coens' hadn't made a bad film. Since then they've been in a bit of a funk.
Still, The Hudsucker Proxy's one of my favourite films, and everything they did pre-funk is pure brilliance. So I'll have to go with the Coens.
I love Lynch too, just in a different, lesser way.
