Post Vin Diesel's Hannibal is still on
"Vin Diesel has chosen the Dominican Republic as a location for his movie Hannibal, an epic about the 3rd century conqueror who led an army riding elephants across the Alps in an assault on Rome."

I have a thing for hsitorical epics like this one, I even liked Alexander, so I am looking forward to this very much.

However, is there really ANY box-office potential for this one at all? Alexander, King Arthur and Kingdom of Heaven didn't do well domestically, despite having bigger stars or bigger directors or being based on bigger stories. You can't always just rely on overseas business as I don't expect it to be too hot for this one either.
