Snrub - I like your taste in movies! You seem to be more critical than I, but I agree with a lot of your list.

I neeeed to see Garden State, Finding Neverland, Sideways, and Before Sunset. Like, really really bad.

Well, I haven't seen Before Sunset yet, but...

Garden State is among the best films of the year (imo), and Sideways is the very best. Finding Neverland was also very good.

Watch Before Sunset! It is not necessary to have seen the first film to appreciate the second (I haven't seen the first movie).

Seeing the first film is not necessary, no, but it seems like those who have praised the film the most are those who were enamored by its dialogue, something I actually found much more 'innovative' and intriguing in the first film. I found Sunset to be slightly disappointing, but it's still a great movie. I recommend it, and ironically enough, I guess you could say I recommend it even more if you haven't seen the first film.

I'll post my updated list later (I am going to watch Hidalgo after I am finished watching Narc.................I have been sick all day), but I just wanted to ask, have other "Best of" threads been made yet for years 2000, 2001 & 2002?

I ask because, even though I have seen a lot of movies from each of those years, I still have a long way to go in completing the lists from each year. For instance for 2002, I have so far seen 103 movies, but I have 55 more to go that I can think of (With the help of a Yahoo list I made up).

No, there are only Best Of threads for 2004 and 2003 at the moment. Feel free to make one for another year, if you would like. It's fun to make the list, and figure out what you still need to watch. :wink:
