Up to 38%! Just pathetic.

Re: Predict Suicide Squad's RT Score
Boy, between this and the lukewarm reviews of The Killing Joke, the Batman/DC film universe is taking a shit-kicking this week. I really thought both would receive universal acclaim.

I'll be sure to keep the 60-100% options out of the next poll

I think for Wonder Woman, the score will be better because of the female aspect.

Re: Predict Suicide Squad's RT Score
Back down to 36%. What's worth noting though is that the "Want to See" percentage has dropped from 99% to 98%. That might not mean a hell of a lot in the long run, but I've never seen that percentage drop for a film right before its release. If that's a sign people are getting scared away from the reviews and have learned from BvS, that might be a problem, especially if SS, like BvS, leaves a lot of money on the table.

Re: Predict Suicide Squad's RT Score
WB has got to be in panic mode right now though. This whole DC extended universe was supposed to be their main cash cow (and not just in movies, but also merchandise, spin offs, TV content, video games, etc) but audiences don't like any of the films then the whole thing is hanging on by the hype thread, and that may not be enough.

Re: Predict Suicide Squad's RT Score
Nothing feels inclusive to me. Each new WB/DC film just feels like last minute decision to make a film, instead it should feel like it's part of a greater and comprehensive plan. Each film has even greater importance than the last to be liked, and that pressure is killing them (not to mention giving critics even greater power) because their marketing department doesn't have the freedom to really sell each movie. They want to lower the risk as much as possible, which means bog standard marketing, and then the movies never stand out. But take the risks and there could be even greater damage. It's a catch-22. I'd still opt for the latter because the rewards are worth it.

The only respite for them is that BvS is selling quite on Blu-Ray/DVD, and I think MOS was the top selling title in 2013 as well.

Hollywood Reporter article on SUICIDE SQUAD's development and reshoots, which confirms that Warner Bros. pushed for a much lighter tone than Ayer intended.

WB needs to let DC Films be. Johns was promoted for a reason.

LOL at every major outlet publicizing that petition to shut down Rotten Tomatoes. Now the petition is nearly at its goal.

Re: Predict Suicide Squad's RT Score
It doesn't matter if it's at its goal or 3000% over it. Who or what is going to shut down RT? It's ludicrous.
