there is one film....my top comedy...thatll make some of you go "wtf". but others...maybe you magnus, as you liked friday, will love it.
but the rest are all impossible to dislike. i know peopel dont like godzilla or whatever, but these films are good movies. number 5 and 3 are two of, imo, the most under rated movies ever. their never talked about. ever. actually, iwont have alot of time tomorrow, so ill do 5 and 4 right now.

#5 LETHAL WEAPON 2
Simply incredible. Never did I expoect such a great sequel that was also so entertaining. Joe Pescis Leo Getz is one of the best side kick creations ever.
"THEY FUCK YOU AT THE DRIVE THROUGH, OK OK OK, THEY FUCK YOU AT THE DIRVE THROUGH OH AND WHO GETS FUCKED OH LEOOO GETZ!"
I mean, the first time i saw this, and the condom commericla with reann comes on and leo tells murtaugh "i love this commercial she is so hot"...i was on the ground laughing for about 10 minutes. i may just go watch this tonight.

#4 THE NUTTY PROFESSOR
BEST COMEDY EVER. Murphy is simply hilarious. As himself, as sherman, as mama, as papa, as brother, as grandma. just watch this movie, and watch shermans facial expression. too funny. just listen to the shit that comes out of their mouths
"Carla I hope you cann cook czause someone has too feed my sherman!"-mrs. klump
"you gonna enjoy making dem grand babies-got dem child bearing hips-babeh pop right out-*popping souind*"-brother
"you want you colon clenzed fine ima clean mine"-mr. klump
"his fraternity was having this thing called "pig day"....its the only reason he asked me out"-fat girl on lance perkins
"hes getting fatter. we cant stop him"-doctor
-anything that comes out of reggies mouth"got more crack them ahrlem!" refering to shermans ass.
BUT what makes this so good, is like wedding crashers....theres a heart. theres a lot of depth. like so many people out there, hes overweight but wants something he knows he cant have. Who doesnt feel bad for him by the end of the movie? it may be funny, but i remember seein gthis in theater and seeing girls cry, and rightfully so. this si a damn fine movie.

#3 GOLDFINGER
Im a huge bond fan. this has/started it all.
-the aston martin
-oddjob
-opening action set piece
-shirley bassy song
-pussy galore
plus, goldfingers plot is actually quite ingenious and original, unlike most bond films. great action, great story, greaty plot, great score, great direction...no wonder it inflates to 450 million domestically.

#1 DIE HARD
the definitive action movie. The definitive cop movie. The definitive action/dry humor movie. The definitive wrong-man-in-wrong-place movie. The definitive only-one-man-can-stop-them movie. The definitive bad-ass/R-rated hero movie. Not only that but it is fucking awesome. Awesome action awesome comedy, very very clever plot, fanatastic acting by bruce willis, bonnie bedielia, Reginald veljohnson, and Alan Rickman in particular as the very very memorable Hans Gruber.
It may be "40 Stories of Sheer Excitment", but is also a provider of endless entertainment.
so, this concludes my list.
AINT. DAT A BITCH! Helluca list if i do say so myself, so onto the next person.
YIPPI KAYE YAY MOTHER FUCKER!

Bit iffy on your top 5, but otherwise more solid that I would've expected... if a bit dry.

There's a tiny line. There's Mr. Price, Loki and myself. No cuts.
Decent list Excel. I can't say I disagree on a lot of those films. Maybe with how they're ranked, but not the quality. But really, The Nutty Professor at 4?

100. The Untouchables (Brian DePalma – 1987)
Morricone's music. Connery. DeNiro. The homage to the Odessa stairs scene in Potemkin. And who would have thought Charles Martin Smith would ever be a badass in a movie.

99. Unforgiven (Clint Eastwood – 1992)
Although dedicated to Leone and Siegel, I think this Western is closer in spirit to a movie like The Shootist.

98. A Nightmare on Elm Street (Wes Craven – 1984)
The absolute best of all the Elm Street movies, when Krueger was still a serious character. It's a pity they went the 'funny' Krueger way in the following films which are somewhat entertaining, but pale against the one that started it all.

97. In the Name of the Father (Jim Sheridan – 1993)
Two powerhouse performances by Day-Lewis and Postlethwaite make this one of the finest movies dealing with political injustice.
