Can't really see much with these pictures, but I think they look great! I don't want to get way into it, but I think Jack Black looks fine. It's hard to judge when it is one picture of him during a scene (it's one still expression, who knows how he's acting the character out).
What I like the most is the picture of Adrien Brody. I thought he would ruin the character by looking like a "nerd", because I've always thought Adrien has a nerdy type feel to him. But I think he looks perfectly in character in this photo. I love it.
And obviously Naomi Watts looks fantastic. She, along with Jackson being involved, is the main reason I'm seeing this film. Peter getting Watts for the role was a great catch.
Looks like it has really been captured as a period piece. I'm very pleased. If Peter has kept up to the level of work on Lord of the Rings, I can see this easily topping the older version as the best King Kong film made.
