Gerwig Narnia will have Streep as Aslan, Emma Mackey as White Witch, Craig and Mulligan

I think they should’ve gone bigger on White Witch like the real Robbie instead of her lookalike.

This is gonna suck and tank. I believe it only gets a 1-week IMAX engagement too.

Sweep as Aslan is ridiculous.

I’m so glad it’s happening. Even though he’s only writing, producing, and acting, I miss Mel Brooks movies. I even enjoyed his last Dracula Dead and Loving it. Apparently Pullman’s son will be playing his son and Rick Moranis is coming out of retirement too. Lot of great material from the prequels spinofffs? Tv shows and sequel trilogy, and that’s just Star Wars, they can definitely have fun with Prometheus and Dune too.

I hope they still call it Spaceballs 3: the search for Spaceballs 2

Spaceballs 2 should be a decent nostalgic hit. Moranis coming back is a bit of a big deal.

I'm shocked that Dracula 30 years ago was the last film he directed. I was sure he made something else afterwards but obviously not.

Well he did the producers on broadway which was a huge hit, and guest starred on an entire season of Curb your enthusiasm. Staying relevant in comedy even at the mid 60s is tough for anyone. Men in Tights was a decent hit but huge on video and Dracula was very old fashion. I remember a lot of critics not finding it that funny but commenting that it was one of the best adaptations of Stoker’s novel. I think casting Leslie Nielsen was a bad idea, I think it would have played better if they actually got Gary Oldman or someone more serious in the role.
