Inception and Dragon are also classics. I remember ranking The Fighter as my #3 but I haven’t rewatched it since.

Re: Favorite movie of 2010? Toy Story 3 and Inception is what I remember the year most for, it's rare to see mainstream blockbusters that hit the highest quality as well. I also really like Tangled and prefer it to Frozen. Exit Through the Gift Shop is probably the most interesting intellectually. I never fully bought into The Social Network hype and I see Easy A as a good but not classic teen movie. 2010 was a great year for mainstream films but probably below average year for non mainstream films for me. Man looking back at this selection 2010 was actually a pretty damn solid year for films. I remember it not being that great back then, but after seeing so many of these films and comparing it to now it does look alot better. Also, while it towards the bottom of my list The Expendables is still one of the best moviegoing experiances I have ever had.
I still remember seeing it opening night in a packed theatre and the whole crowd going nuts during the action sequences, especially once it got to the third act.

1. The Social Network .... I still fucking love this movie every time I see it. Top 10 of the decade
2. Toy Story 3 .... Haven't seen this in awhile but any movie that makes me cry this hard, encapsulating and growing on the previous two movies... damn
3. Black Swan .... Aranofsky does horror camp. and he does it so well. Beautiful and haunting
4. The Kids are All Right .... underrated in my experience. It's a relational family gem
others:
Shutter Island, Kick-Ass, 127 Hours, Train Your Dragon, The Fighter. I liked Inception but any passion I might have had for the movie was lost in the hype. Not my favorite Nolan by a long shot.

Voted for "Other", as my highest rated films I've so far seen from that year are Loong Boonmee raleuk chat (Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives), Copie conforme (Certified Copy) and Kari-gurashi no Arietti (The Secret World of Arrietty), but out of the poll options it's The Social Network, followed by Toy Story 3.
