Some of the funniest shit I've read all night which this site is best known for in it's sarcasm toward movies, but apparently the studio behind BEWITCHED is so confident they have a hit on their hands, that they movied BEWITCHED up 2 Weeks to June 29th leaving FF4 to itself for the weekend automatically giving it the #1 spot for the weekend unchallenged..

It's actually being released on the 24th, not the 29th.

I love how these sites that don't realize how box office and theaters work, continue to add their embarrassing commentary anyway.

F4 moved because of weakness, but Bewitched moved because of it being strong? ok... Bewitched knew it had a better chance going up against Dukes of Hazzard than F4, so it moved. It's got nothing to do with quality, it has to do with those first weekend grosses, and maximizing their profits.

Dumb move by the studios by moving Bewitched against another remake of another tv series. Had they stuck it against F4, it would of done well considering F4 is mainly targetted to comic book/sci fi fans & teenagers while Bewitched is targetted more as a date movie and an older adult audience. Now Bewitched will have to compete with the same babyboomer/Gen X fans when it squares off against Dukes of Hazards

I predict all three of these movies aren;t going to be very good and perform that well. Nothign I have seen from any of them makes me the least bit interested in seeing them, at least F4 has actors I adore in it, so I will likely see it.

yep i agree but i'd would've luved to see FF4 vs WoW match up.
