The new pics are the 1st ones down on this link.. Very cool looking and Dakota Fanning has quite the acting career ahead of her... Alot of the pics of this film remind me of this having a touch of "Saving Private Ryan" Meets "ID4" and that H.G Wells feel to it... Despite the fact that I think Spielberg is rushing this film too fast, if he pulls this off and it ends up being a Blockbuster, then I guess we can safely say Spielberg is the Greatest Director there is for pulling it off in such a short time..

since they unfortunately decided on a modern-day earth setting..:?
AND ALSO USE THE WALKER ALIEN MACHINES AS WELL
as the hover-ships from the film

Nice Pic of Cruise and Dakota Fanning screaming there ass off at something.. =D> This movie looks to be one of the summer's best thus far, even better looking than the pics I've seen of BATMAN BEGINS..

can somebody tell me what exactly are they looking at in the pictures. It reminds me of Independenec Day when the Empire State Building explodes and everybody looks up.

All those pics only show Tom Cruise looking scared (with his same Cruise scared facial expression) and offers nothing new. Heck I thought I was looking at the poster for Ben Hur when I saw the words War of the World on the design poster
