 Re: 5plit deci5ion: 5cott's Game (Game 10 results, page 6)
Results for game 10.
MG Casey - 9 SolC9 - 8 Jack Sparrow - 7 Omni - 7 Rev - 7 trixster - 7 Proud Ryu - 6 i.hope - 5
Yikes, one missed Risk Booster really cost i.hope a chance to tie for the win in this round. I guess the tilt slightly worked for some people, but not significantly enough. Nobody got the ranges for Sherlock nor Alvin. 4 people found Young Adults, but only two solved the Impossible Mission. 5 of you made it to New Years Eve. 4 of you found a Sitter for Arthur. 7 of you found Hugo. One more week and two rounds to go. Confused? I explain it to you....after I give the standings in the next post...

 5plit deci5ion: 5cott's Game (Game 10 results, page 6)
Standings after 10 games.
Omni - 86 Jack Sparrow - 85 i.hope - 77 Proud Ryu - 71 SolC9 - 69 MG Casey - 59 trixster - 54 Rev - 46
Not much of a change in the differences, but no change in rankings. Hopefully this two parter game can change the whole thing.

 Re: 5plit deci5ion: 5cott's Game (Game 9 results, page 5)
Here is the info for game 11
Predict Wednesday Grosses The Adventures of Tintin (range - 3 million) Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (range - 3 million) Mission: Impossible 4 (range - 3 million) Sherlock Holmes 2 (range - 2 million)
Yep, only 4 films. But here is the catch. Rev will get 4 points for each one he gets right, MG Casey and trixster will get 3 points for each one they get right. Proud Ryu and SolC9 will get 2 points for each one they get right, and i.hope will get 1 point for each one they get right. Omni and Jack Sparrow cannot play this round at all. But don't fret, even with the maximum scores, they will not match the totals the top two already have, this is only to give them a shot to not be mathematically eliminated from the game. Predictions are due on Wednesday at noon. Do not be late. Game 12 info coming up.

 Re: 5plit deci5ion: 5cott's Game (Game 9 results, page 5)
Info for the Game 12 Days of Christmas Spectacular game.
(Do as noted, and for all weekends, I want only the 3-day Friday-Sunday gross) Adventures of Tintin (weekend gross) (range - 5 million) Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (weekend gross) (range - 5 million) Mission Impossible 4 (weekend gross) (range - 5 million) We Bought a Zoo (weekend gross) (range - 4 million) War Horse (Christmas Day gross) (range - 3 million) Darkest Hour (Christmas Day gross) (range - 3 million) My Week with Marilyn (weekend gross) (range - 1 million) The Artist (weekend gross) (range - 0.5 million) Sherlock Holmes 2 (Christmas Day gross) (range - 2 million) Alvin and the Chipmunks 3 (Christmas Day gross) (range - 2 million) Adventures of Tintin (Christmas day gross) (range - 2 million) Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (Christmas Day gross) (range - 2 million) Mission Impossible 4 (Christmas Day gross) (range - 2 million) We Bought a Zoo (Christmas Day gross) (range - 2 million) Risk Boosters (remember, not mandatory). Sherlock Holmes 2 (weekend gross) (range - 5 million) Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 (weekend gross) (range - 4 million) New Year's Eve (weekend gross) (range - 2 million) Hugo (weekend gross) (range - 1 million) The Sitter (weekend gross) (range - 1 million) Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 (weekend gross) (range - 1 million)
That's right, 20 films to predict (only 14 are mandatory). You will get two points for each one that is right, and 4 points for every Risk Booster that is right (and minus 4 for each one wrong), meaning that there is total of 52 points up for grabs here. Predictions are due on Midnight on Wednesday Pacific time, so do not be late, or there will be a 2 point deduction for each hour that you are late. There will also be a 2 point deduction for each wrong range. And if anyone reveals any part of their score, or says how good or bad they think they did on this game before the scores have been tabulated (Sparrow), you will be disqualified. So keep your predictions and your scores a secret and predict away. Oh and by the way, when you send in predictions, give me the name of your favorite fast food restaurant (cause the runner up gets that prize). Get your predictions in and have yourself a Merry Christmas!

 Re: 5plit deci5ion: 5cott's Game (Game 9 results, page 5)
Another question though I already know the answer. We get 2 point deduction for every wrong range even the mandatory 14, plus for Risk Boosters there is 4 point deduction. Am I right ?

Any mandatory 14 is worth 2 points instead of one, and the risk boosters are worth 4 points for every one right instead of two., and minus four if you miss them. There will be a 2 point deduction if you give me a wrong range (like if the range was 2 million, and a player puts 4-7 million for example, it will be automatically counted wrong and will get a 2 point deduction cause the range was 3 instead of the two that was asked for).

 Re: 5plit deci5ion: 5cott's Game (Game 9 results, page 5)
Edit: Never mind. Just realized both movies are to be released Sunday. Quote: Ouch... I just realized the predictions of War Horse and The Darkest Hour were for Christmas Day instead of the weekend.
To Scott: since those two movies are not released until tomorrow, is there chance we can go back and edit our submissions for the mistakes?

 Re: 5plit deci5ion: 5cott's Game (Game 9 results, page 5)
Results for Game 12.
trixster - 12 Rev - 8 MG Casey - 6 Proud Ryu - 4 SolC9 - 4 i.hope - 3
Looks like trixster took full advantage of this game since he is the only one to get all of his right (worth 3 points each for him). Rev got only 2 right to get only 8 points. i.hope got three right, but worth only 1 point each for him. Everyone else got 2. Lets see how his shakes up heading for the last game.

The standings heading to the last game.
Omni - 86 Jack Sparrow - 85 i.hope - 80 Proud Ryu - 75 SolC9 - 73 trixster - 66 MG Casey - 65 Rev - 54
trixster jumped ahead of MG Casey thanks to this game. Now the moment of truth comes. Who will be victorious in this game and win that special prize. Stay tune after the holidays to see what comes up. Till then, have a Merry, and safe Christmas weekend.

 Re: 5plit deci5ion: 5cott's Game (Game 9 results, page 5)
The Final Results are in. Drumrolls please.................. Coming in 8th place is... Rev, who got a negative 20 in this round, putting his final score at 34. Maybe predicting is not your thing, but keep trying. Coming in 7th place is... MG Casey, who only got 4 in this round, bringing his sexy total to 69 (better leave before I get tomatoes thrown at me). Coming in 6th place is... trixster, who got 10 points in this round. He actually got the most films right with 9, but the risk boosters killed his score. He ends up with a final total of 76. Coming in 5th place is... i.hope, who scored only 6 points in this round, bringing his total to 86, making as big as a collapse as the Boston Red Sox. Hopefully this downward momentum does not carry over to next year. Coming in 4th place is... SolC9, who got 14 points in this round, meaning that he beat i.hope by 1 point in the final standings with 87. The top three players, will be coming up in just a few minutes.

 Re: 5plit deci5ion: 5cott's Game (Game 9 results, page 5)
Now comes the Top 3 players. The runner up wins $5 dollars to his favorite fast food, or any type of store of his choosing, and the winner wins a DVD of his choice (a cap of $20 that is).I am going to reveal the winner in an America's Funniest Home Videos format, by revealing the runner up first, than the winner, meaning that the remaining player come in 3rd. Okay, here we go. The 2nd place winner is...Proud Ryu, who got an impressive 24 points in this round, bringing is final total to 99 points. ...he will win a 5 dollar certificate to his favorite food jointThe final winner between will be revealed in just a moment.

 Re: 5plit deci5ion: 5cott's Game (Winner revealed)
Between the two remaining players, we will now answer the question, will we see the first repeat winner on the show, or will a rookie take the thrown. The winner of Split Decision Season 5 is.....Omni, with a Grand Total of 110 points. He too did impressively in the last game with 24 points. Jack on the other hand, got only 14 points, bringing his score to 99 points. But since he did not give a name to his favorite food joint as instructed, Ryu is declared the runner up.
So there you have it, the winner of the first season of this show is the winner of the 5th season, and is now the first repeat winner in the history of this show. Send me your address per PM with the DVD of your choice, whatever works in your region (cap of $20, or whatever currency you use), and your prize will be on the way. This ends another season of Split Decision. Until next fall... Thank you all for playing, and have a Happy and Safe New Year.

 Re: 5plit deci5ion: 5cott's Game (Winner Revealed, page 6)
Just to be clear I am not from America so I was going to give my vouchers to anyone who came in third anyways thus no name was given from my end (this is even better though ). Congratulations Omni and Ryu. But on your part Scottie I see it unfair to not declare a tie for second place just because I did not give the fast food name that was not a mandatory condition to win. I don't mind giving the vouchers...but anyways that is your decision and I will honor it (still unfair)

I also made this decision also based on the fact that Ryu did better on this round than you did, so he got the higher ranking also based on that.
