This week, while it will have two parts, will see only one of you go back home a total loser. In the first half of the week there will be a vote, of course. One of you will be condemned to The Inferno, where the other contestants hope for your elimination. This person will have no part in the second half of the week. In that half, only one person will vote. The person with immunity, casting his vote for one of the unlucky two without it.

The Inferno will then commence, and one of you will be eliminated with only one week to go before The Finale. Good luck.

I guess I should thank Monsters vs. Aliens for my HTTYD predictions. I just started with a Friday number ($12.8m), and just copied MvA's increases/decreases. I also got lucky with HTTM and Chloe, as I got 100% for both.

100% on Chloe?! Nice! I guessed .8, and my initial thought was 1. Should have split the difference.

It was brutal trying to predict that shit, and yeah I should have known a little better but it was a long way from obvious which direction things were going to go so I went "safe". I do not know how I am still in this game. Sometimes it feels like the more I try the lower my score gets!

The final member of the flop Strategy team has been eliminated. Let's see just what he has to say about his strategy this season, which led him to his elimination.


So, be.redy. The final Strategy Stankho. Did you forget you were one?
Of course. That's because I never had a strategy going in. It was my second time in this game, but a case of selective amnesia made me forget that. So I was just feeling the grounds, checking out how the game works... I didn't even think about alliances at first because I thought it was pretty much every man for himself. I was pretty surprised when McSteamy first PM'd a bunch of us trying to vote off the notorious alliance first. I didn't even bother to check the previous editions to see how the game works and as I said I had no idea I already played this game years ago.

Going into the merge, was your strategy to lose? I ask because it seems to most people, nothing really occurred once the merge happened. No big, huge alliances were made and everyone seemed concentrated on getting Maguire and Christian out when they were in a totally fucked position and could've been used like Taiwanese whores to wreck havoc and get the big players out. The people that are now in the final three. What happened?
Going into the merge my strategy was to get as far as I could. Things did occur, but nothing big. Mag & Chris tried to scramble a bit, but I think everyone, including me, wasn't really comfortable with siding completely with them because it could have an impact on future games. Obviously if the things remain the same they'll be the first targets in the next edition. I sided with them in the first part of the game because I had shitty scores, and was bounded to get voted off. So with them I could at least be sure I was safe while there was room for voting for someone else. When the final merge happened I wasn't comfortable going back to them because of the reason I already stated.

After the merge obviously everyone was keen on voting them off. And until that happened I don't think anyone was bothering with alliances. And by the time they got voted off there was only a few of us left and there was no room for big alliances, only small ones. And I think it was pretty obvious who was with who.

SolC9 and Proud Ryu were huge threats to you and everyone else. Why were they both not voted into The Inferno at every opportunity? SolC9 did get immunity several times. Weeks Ryu did not. But there were times neither one had it. And other, less threatening ultimately people were sent into The Inferno. Not saying you suck, but they are amazing predictors and obvious threats. Why were they not really considered such until it seemed too late to do anything against them, since everyone that would vote for them has been eliminated?
I guess they're likeable and people really do have grudge against Chrismikguire (did I write that correctly?) alliance, so they kinda flew under the radar. In addition to that they were part of The Rookies and there was more times when the Veterans lost than when The Rookies lost so there weren't a lot of chances to vote for them really. I already said what seemed the prime concern of everyone after the merge, so they are where they are.

Was the mentality, that all the former Rookies seem to have, that you'd rather be against someone you consider a strong player, so you are tested, even if they are better? That hasn't ever really seemed to work out for anyone but the people that are better. Keeping the big, strong predictors when you are two separate teams makes sense. When you merge, it does not. So was it that mentality of wanting to be against someone hardcore instead of someone you could possibly beat? If not, what?
I guess this was a game of visibility and likability. Invisible players got voted off and unlikeable ones got voted off first. There really wasn't much strategy on anyone's part looking back now.

It really doesn't matter at all to me. One of them already won the game, no? Then any of the remaining two would be good I guess.

I wouldn't hate anyone to see win this season, but as I said I would like to see someone who hasn't won before win the goddamn thing.
