well, perhaps they're hoping oscar. which, after cruz got in for volver, and with almodovar's previous success with screenplay, might be a good idea.

Spain had better go with Almodóvar this year and choose his movie for the Foreign cat. at Oscar or I'll be pissed.

Did anyone read about the scene that takes place in full darkness? And it's a restaurant scene, I think. Sounds insane. I believe Pedro wrote about it on his blog.

28th August release date in the UK, 18th March in Spain according to imdb. I might just have to have a weekend in Barcelona to catch this, oh well :roll:
