Anyone see this documentary? http://www.sonyclassics.com/dogtown/ 
Excellent flick. Story of a group of kids that became landmark skateboarders in the mid 70's. Don't worry. You don't have to be into that scene to enjoy it. I had no interest in the world of skateboarding before I saw it. Awesome soundtrack. Funny guys. Good story. |

Yes. I've seen it. It was excellent, mostly, for me, because of the choice of subject, and the fact that the guys were so incredibly full of themselves. Haha. I guess it comes from my experiences, but I felt like these guys are bragging about spending their whole life on ramps on 4 wheels, but then again, they are. Its just a much bigger thing than what it got relegated to in the burb I grew up in. Thanks for posting here, welcome to the forums. |
