Only recently emerging as a film sub-genre, the new Mentos-Pepsi film has quickly gained stature in the movie community. Here we present, as a WOKJ World Exclusive, the first ever Mentos-Pepsi Film Festival! ____________________________________________________________________________ Our festival begins with a historical look at one of the earliest films in the genre is the now classic Cuidadito con los Mentos! Note how it captures a certain rustic infomercial charm, that is sadly lacking in the latest films in the genre... <object><param></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/SC43-3jSgFg" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350"></embed></object> Next, is unquestionably the best film to be produced in the genre yet. Using big budget special effects, a boffo soundtrack, and clearly Method-trained actors, Experiment 137 is clearly the front-runner for next year's Oscars... <object><param></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/7wKmgkhJ7L4" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350"></embed></object> And finally, we present the lone Indie entry at this year's Festival - Super Burp. What it lacks in high-end production values, it makes up for in Indie charm.
