I was invited to go to the TIFF this year through my father for a discounted price of 6 dollars a film. While it's fairly affordable, I'm not allowed THAT much money and I don't have a job at the moment. I'm still deciding which of these films look the most interesting to me, but it would mean a world if you guys could comment on the line up. That is, if you have heard of ANY of these movies.

A Tale of a Naughty Girl (India, 03) - sounds interesting. "A prostitute decides to sell her young teenage daughter to a rich old man, so they can escape the bleakness of their lives. But the young girl who has been to school wants to pursue studies. All this unfolds against the backdrop of News of Man's First Trip to the Moon reaching the sleepy village."

Bombom El Perro (Argentina, 04) - if this is "Chiche bombon", I'd watch it probably. (only 4.9 of 20 votes, but still.sounds interesting, might not suck)

Chased by Dreams (India, 04) - I like the title, 8.9 with 30 votes, no idea what its about though.\

Cleopatra (Argentina, 02) - if this were the 2002 "Astérix & Obélix: Mission Cléopâtre", go for it...(that films not argentinian, tho). But...there;s an 03 Cleopatra from Argentina...7.9 138 votes, but sounds kinda bland/boring.

Dias De Santiago (Peru, 04) - Peru's submission to 05 Oscars...sounds kinda cool.

The Archimedes Principle (Spain, 05) - i'd watch it on title alone. (but it sounds worthy, too)

The Ister (France, 05) - this sounds kinda great, but it's 189 minutes. Apparently, it's some philosopher's narrating their thoughts on some poem (The Ister) overlayed on top of footage of the river the poem's about...sounds like it might be a Koyaanisqatsi type of "no plot" thing. I'd prolly watch it.

So, bold I would try to watch especially. The others, maybe if you're bored (or if you can find info on Chased by Dreams andit sounds good).
the rest either werent on IMDB or dont sound worth checking out to me.
