Imagine Me & You (Piper Perabo, Lena Headey, Matthew Goo
Plot:
Imagine you are getting married.
The big day has arrived. You're walking down the aisle on your father's arm and your eyes meet the eyes of the person you know you're going to spend the rest of your life with.
Then imagine that that person isn't the nervous man standing next to the vicar. It isn't a man at all. It's the woman who's been employed to do the flowers in the church.
"Imagine Me & You" is a funny and fresh romantic comedy about that undeniable moment of knowing that someone is the right someone for you.
Release Date: January 27, 2006 (Limited)
Distributors: Fox Searchlight Pictures
Starring: Piper Perabo, Lena Headey, Celia Imrie, Matthew Goode, Anthony Stewart Head
I had read about this movie earlier this summer or fall in a magazine, I think it was The Advocate, and I thought it sounded really good. I love Fox Searchlight and Piper Perabo. Another lesbian romantic comedy from Fox Searchlight, Kissing Jessica Stein, is one of my all-time favorites. I just saw the trailer this morning on Coming Attractions and awwww, it looks sooooooo cute. I can't wait to see it! And now I can't get "You and Me" by Lifehouse out of my head. I'm going to have to download it. I also thought the poster was really cute.
The Hollywood Reporter says "Imagine if Kissing Jessica Stein had been made by the Four Weddings and a Funeral people, and you pretty much get the gist of Imagine Me and You, a pleasant if pedestrian British romantic comedy."

Just saw the trailer for it today thanks to someones sig here, and it looks good. Typical british humor. Love the blond guy, looks like he might be a stand out. And Piper with a british accent? From the trailer it doesn't sound to bad. Of course I'm probably going to have to wait until it comes out on DVD since it's an indie job and my little town rarely gets those.
